Starting in May 2023, top luxury Mercedes-Benz vehicles like Maybach and the EQ line will offer an unprecedented experience: Dolby Atmos® surround sound, reimagining the way we listen to music on the road. Our campaign “Unheard Of” explores the unique collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and Dolby, tracing back to the cassette tapes of the 1980s when Dolby first began transforming car audio.
In our launch film, directed by Julian Klincewicz, we crafted a nostalgic coming-of-age story to show how sound shapes our lives. Shot with cameras from different eras, both analog and digital, the film follows a young music lover as they experience music in a Mercedes-Benz for the first time, igniting a passion that leads them to a future of hearing their own work through Dolby Atmos®.
